Mr. K.M. Saidur Rahman has Joined at the Asia Pacific General Insurance Company Limited is Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment came as per the approval of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) on the recommendation of the company’s Board of Directors. He has been serving as the chief executive officer of the company since August 14. Earlier Mr. Rahman served as the Chief Executive Officer of Express Insurance Limited for 15 years. Later, he served as the Chief Consultant to Prime Insurance Company Limited. With BBA and MBA in Management obtained from Chittagong University, K.M. Saidur Rahman is a Qualified Chartered Secretary and a Fellow Member (FCS) of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). Besides, he is a faculty member of ICSB.
Mr. Saidur Rahman has more than 30 years experience in Non Life Insurance Sector. He passed Insurance Diploma 1st and 2nd part stood 1st position. He part a lot of training on Corporate Management Insurance and Reinsurance at home is abroad. He also works as a lecturer in training institutes of various banks. He is a member of the Bangladesh Insurance Forum of association as the Chief Executive Officers serving in the insurance sector. He is also a lifetime member of Dhaka based Chattogram Samiti and Patiya Samiti and a member of Chittagong University Alumni Association and the alumni association of Management Department of the same university. He is associated with many social religious organization.
