Mr. Siddiqui started off in 1990 with buying house ‘Norban Fashion Ltd.’ (NFL) where he used to effectively communicate with buyers from all across the globe. In a few years’ time he garnered of expertise and knowledge about the RMG and started his first factory ‘Hornbill Apparels Ltd.’. After a few years he commenced with his second factory ‘Norban Comtex Ltd.’. Mr. Siddiqui’s bold and strategic leadership made Norban one of the leading RMG factories in Bangladesh. His knowledge on all the aspects of RMG is unparalleled.
Wahidul Haque Siddiqui being a visionary witnessed the emergence of ICT globally. He anticipated this change Bangladesh in late 1990s. Hence took the initiative of establishing one of the first ISPs of this Country BDCOM Online Ltd. in 1998. With his guidance and leadership BDCOM became the market leader and achieved a remarkable feat. Under Mr. Shiddiqui’s well steered direction BDCOM has won several accolades including the prestigious National Award.
Wahidul Haque Siddiqui a dynamic and versatile business mind of this Country. Mr. Siddiqui a serial entrepreneur along with several investors formed ‘Fiber@home Ltd.’ the first private Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN) Company of Bangladesh. The Company has built an underground optical fiber metro Ethernet network all over Bangladesh. He has a strong presence in number of industries. He occupies position in the board of ‘Fiber@Home Ltd.’, Asia Pacific General Insurance Company Limited, Daulatunnessa Equities Ltd. His resourceful mindset and goodwill is appreciated in home and abroad. He is associated with a number of charity organizations.
